Heartfelt Moments at Jubilee Mandiram – A Day of Service, Smiles, and Shared Joy! πŸ’–✨

 Community service day - IV

The day started with cleaning the plates and cups of the residents, ensuring everything was ready for their meals. Since it was the last day for most of the team except me, we decided to organize a special program to make the day memorable for the residents.

Throughout the morning, we planned the event while also serving lunch. After making sure everyone had their meal, we moved on to executing the program at noon.

The event was filled with joy and laughter. We started with fun games like ball passing, the biscuit-eating challenge (where participants had to move a biscuit from their forehead to their mouth using only facial expressions), and a film identification game based on songs and dialogues. The residents participated enthusiastically, making the atmosphere lively.

The cultural performances added a special touch—many residents sang heartfelt songs, Suja Aunty shared a meaningful story which was dedicated for her mother present at the Jubilee Mandiram Hospice, and we contributed with a dance performance, a group song, and a solo song. Seeing their excitement and happiness was truly heartwarming.

Toward the end, we gave a donation as a small gesture of gratitude and support. It was a bittersweet day, filled with laughter, music, and shared moments. Though it was the last day for most, the memories created here will stay with us forever.
