LOKAHI Camp 2025:Day 1 - Harmony with Future

The first day of the LOKAHI Community Living Camp was held on 21 October 2025 at Baselios Marthoma Mathews II Training College, Kottarakkara. Registration began at 8:30 a.m., followed by the flag hoisting by Principal Dr. Riju John. The inaugural ceremony was presided over by the Principal and officially inaugurated by noted poet and writer Kuripuzha Sreekumar. Inspirational messages were delivered by Very Rev. Zacharia Ramban, Rev. Fr. Simon Lukose, Mrs. Jaisy John, Rev. Fr. Thomson Grace, Mrs. Sheeja Chacko, and Dr. Biju G.

The forenoon session included a theme presentation by Dr. Noufal N, Assistant Professor, Sree Narayana Guru Open University, who emphasized the significance of unity and accepting individuality to achieve true oneness. Cultural programmes by various student groups added vibrancy to the event, followed by lunch.

In the afternoon, Mr. Renjith T, HR Trainer, led a motivational session titled “Direction to Dreams”, inspiring student teachers to chase their ambitions, supported by interactive activities. 

The day concluded with an engaging “Chiriyum

Chinthayum” session by mimicry artist Vineeth Elamadu, who blended humour with valuable life lessons, leaving the audience inspired and entertained. The first day ended successfully by 5:00 p.m.
