From calm classrooms to creative projects and a powerful finale—ended the journey on a high!

 TEACHING PRACTICE PHASE - I

Weekly Reflection - 9

Day 38 (29 september 2025)

After signing in at 9:30 a.m., the day began beautifully with a confident and efficient morning assembly led by Class 10B. My main focus was the third period in Class 8B.

The school atmosphere was notably calm, which we utilized during the noon hour to assist smoothly with the midday meal distribution. Adding to the relaxed vibe, the high school sections were busy with orientation sessions for Classes 8, 9, and 10, guiding them on the various higher secondary courses available—a crucial step for their future. The day remained remarkably productive and peaceful, allowing us to manage our responsibilities efficiently. We wrapped things up by helping with the dispersal duties, signed the register by 4:15 p.m., and headed off, enjoying a pleasant conclusion before the pooja break officially began.

Day 39 (03 OCTOBER 2025)

Today marked our energetic return after the Pooja holidays, and while the student strength was expectedly low, the day was anything but quiet!

After signing in, I headed straight to my duties. Though the classroom was a little less full than usual, the students who did attend were incredibly engaged. The afternoon brought a fun blend of activities. First, we smoothly managed the midday meal distribution, ensuring everyone was served efficiently. Then, we switched gears entirely for a special project: we were tasked with creating a video reel for the upcoming Little Kites state-level competition! We spent a great block of time recording students performing various ICT-based activities, which was a blast.

Finally, we rounded out the afternoon by conducting a focused skit practice with Class 8 students for their important upcoming performance on Child Labour. We wrapped up the day with our regular dispersal duties and signed out, leaving the school at 4:15 p.m. Despite the lower crowd, the mix of classroom challenge and creative projects made the day incredibly engaging and productive!

Day 40 (04 OCTOBER 2025)

Saturday, August 4th, 2025, marked our final day of regular teaching sessions, and it was packed with meaningful activities! Arriving at 9:00 a.m., I taught my last class for Class 8B, concluding the chapter on Algebraic Solutions of Equations with an ICT-based lesson. This session was observed by my mentor, Sajeev Sir, who offered encouraging feedback on my effective use of PowerPoint and provided valuable, constructive suggestions for enhancing my teaching strategies—a truly insightful learning moment!

Despite the low attendance typical of a working Saturday, the afternoon remained busy; after assisting with noon meal duties, we conducted a vital conscientization programme focused on first aid awareness, specifically addressing how to handle shock, fractures, and minor injuries through practical demonstrations and discussions. Wrapping up with dispersal duties and signing out around 4:00 p.m., the day felt incredibly fulfilling, successfully completing both the teaching component and a significant awareness initiative.
